Basic Home NAS Build
Brief
Building a NAS is not significantly different than building a PC. Except that you have to plan to spend a lot more on your bulk storage drives instead of your GPU or processor.

Software Specs
Going for cheap/free options.
Plan is to run OpenMediaVault for basic file server usage plus something like Immich for simple photobackups.
Proposed Setup
- OS Drive nvme (ZFS/ext4)
- Dual Hard drives either mirrored or in a parity solution for integrity. Depending on case, will dictate how expandable we want the solution to be.
- Appsrunning in Docker Compose or LXC or VM depending.
